Corruption is when your
recruitment drive targets illiterate, ignorant and desperate people
instead of educated, enlightened and qualified people, because you have
an agenda to short change, cheat, rob, maltreat and use them for self
service.
This is what I think each time I see a haggard, unkempt, tattered and hungry looking person wearing the uniform of the Nigerian Police.
Please be nice to the Policemen you meet on the street, they are not the problem, they are also victims of a corrupt system.
