My name is Daniel Akobi; I am a Pastor,I run the THE REDCARPET. Strange name for a christian organisation you may say. I agree with you ,but the choice of the name is strategically important to convey who we are,what we believe and what we do.

In choosing a name, traditionally churches and religious organisations tend to go spiritual as in Bible based names. there is nothing wrong  with this and there is nothing wrong with bearing a secular name either.
A name is just a means of expressing ones identity. For us in the REDCARPET,what we want to express is that you can break away from the norm and step out of the box in other to be relevant in life.
We don't want to be your run of the mill Church or Christian organisation. We want to be unique and different.
I passionately believe that Christianity isn't a mere religion but a life style that is powered by the Spirit of God. The Lord Jesus Christ, according to  the words of  Dr Myles Monroe ''was not just a religious leader or figure,He was a historical personality who radically and positively transform the destiny of mankind for ever'' According to him ''Jesus never brought a religion but a teaching that has radically transformed humanity forever''
This is the idea behind THE  REDCARPET. It's a ministry that is mandated to raise people who will be norm breakers in every field of human endeavour.
We believe that all people, not withstanding their social status,colour,nationality,wealth,educational qualification etc, are very important and relevant to the divine plan of God for the planet earth. Our mission therefore is to inspire,encourage,teach,network them towards enabling them discover and actualise their God given purpose.
To actualise this we present the truth of Gods' word in simple,clear,concise,practical,inspiring and down to earth manner.
Our approach is also friendly,caring,loving,trendy,cultured,innovative,witty,creative,dynamic,bold,cool,focused,enterprising,informal and fun.
We roll out THE REDCARPET for you to celebrate who you are and what you carry.

You can also attend our meeting every Saturday. It's called TAKEOFF; it's a platform to teach,encourage,inspire and network you to enable you launch into your purpose.
It's 60 mins of word and worship that is Spiritually rich and practical. You ll feel at home in our meeting because it's friendly,informal,simple and fun.
We meet every Saturday at: King koko's compound, 25, Moses .A. Majekodunmi Crescent, near Edo line,Utako District,Abuja.
